FAQ

What blog platforms do you work with?

Currently, we offer custom design services for WordPress (self-hosted blogs) and Blogger.

Can you create a custom illustration for my design?

At this time, we do not have an illustrator on board to offer this kind of service. If you can’t find a suitable image on Istockphoto or Dreamstime, you may want to contact an illustrator.

How long does the design process take?

After we have received your 50% down payment as well as your completed design questionnaire, you will be contacted with a Start Date. We aim to have blog designs completed within 7-14 days and website designs completed within 15-30 days. However, time frames will vary for each project and we greatly depend on the quick responses from our clients in order to move in a timely manner.

If there is a waiting list, the client will be notified.

What software do you use to design websites?

All of our graphic designs are created by using Photoshop CS4 or Paint Shop Pro.  All coding such as XHTML, CSS and Javascripts are hand-coded using Crimson Editor.

I already have a logo. Can you incorporate it into my new design?

Yes, we can incorporate your current logo into your new design.

What info do you need from me?

We have all clients fill out the Design Worksheet before the design process takes place.  From there, we will communicate with you through emails and you will be notified before signing of contract what materials, if any, are needed from yourself.

When will you begin on my design?

We will notify you about where you are in our que as well as give you a projected start date after we have received your completed questionnaire.

Do you customize existing templates?

Yes, we can customize templates that you find on the web, or a design that you are currently using, as long as you have the rights to do so (own rights yourself or the template is for General Public use).

What is a Favicon?

Favicon is short for “favorite icon”. It is a 16×16 image that is shown inside the browser’s bookmark menu. For instance, Google’s favicon is a small, purple “g”. Favicons add a professional touch to your website and is a great way to brand your business.

Why isn’t my Favicon showing up?

Favicons do not always appear immediately. Give it some time (sometimes even 24 hours) and refresh your page (hit “Ctrl+F5”). Also, if you are using Internet Explorer (which is notorious for bugs), your favicon may disappear for a time on occasion.

When do I make the final payment?

When the design is completed, but before installation.
